President Muhammadu Buhari Rejects Gay marriage
Barrack Obama -USA told President Muhammadu Buhari that he should sanction Gay marriage in Nigeria, but he refused, stating that Gay marriage is against the law of the country and an abomination to our culture’.
As serious as the case was, the issue of gay marriage was discussed during Buhari meeting in the US but he rejected the offer.
“The issue of gay marriage came up a day ago and President Muhammadu Buhari repeated his statement that "Gay marriage is against the law in Nigeria, and an abomination to our culture,"
Nigerians are afraid that Obama might pressurized Buhari to sanction Gay marriage in Nigeria in order to get the support of the United States.
Civil Society Organisations (CSO), also urged Buhari not to listen to the US government on issues of Gay rights, so as to protect the laws and values of Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari, being a religious man fells to accept what Obama said regarding to Gay right, it is known that Obama is a man of trade by batter i.e never gives anything away without collecting something in return. and Buhari being a religious man is also a persistent man who gets what he want persistently, we pray that God help him persist and man-over Obama and get what he want ,without accepting Obama's demand.
