  African Stars and International music industry went out in force on Saturday for the fifth edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards. Nigeria did it again as they dominated this year’s MTV Africa Music Awards, MAMA, having most of the coveted trophies all to there selves.



  Davido  retained his title as Africa’s Best male Artiste of the year. He won the same award last year. The Aye crooner beats his South African counterpart, AKA, Diamond from Tanzania, Ghanaian Sarkodie and Wizkid to clinch the trophy.

13. Personality of the Year: Trevor Noah (South Africa)
14. MAMA Evolution: D’Banj (Nigeria)
15. Best International: Nicki Minaj
